I agree. There are so many users here on Story Wars, that we can all be forgotten unless you practically 'live' here on Story Wars :))

I also suggest there be a weekly 'Story of the Week' or something along this line. This would draw attention to new users as well.

Sounds like it 'might' be a good idea; I don't see why other members would find this necessarily interesting enough to know. It might, however, bring more attention to this particular user.

Hi; I see where you've commented on several recent topics, so thanks for that. Do you use Grammarly or the one Joakim is suggesting? If you haven't tried Grammarly yet, try it. At least until Joakim finds a way to integrate his suggestion into Story Wars. Grammarly is great. It's incorporated into face book, twitter (don't use), and some other sites. There is also a version that can be used offline as well. I use the free version, as I'm not about to pay for something such as this. Hope this helps :))

Hi. I am a little confused. Are you Libby or Jocelyn? Anyway, I went to both websites: Your story 'Careful Carolina': I really enjoyed it. I had a little problem with the 'flow' of the story. Perhaps more focus on Percy, and why he was acting so strangely. Then the ending: didn't care for it. You leave your readers 'hanging'. What happened to Percy? Why was he shot?....When writing a story, you need to have a proper ending, "wrap it all up in a bow", so to speak. And I did enjoy your poems. Heartfelt, expressive way of displaying your emotions....

Your addition to the story on Story Wars, was great. It always amazes me how the words seem to flow so easily from people that write various things, and you definitely have a talent for descriptive sentences and expressive words. Great job!! Hope this helps.

What name are you using on Story Wars? I'd be glad to read your story.

Hi Libby. I do like this idea, a lot. :) Joakim is on vacation and he usually handles the forums, per se. He's very good at follow-thru, so give it a couple of days for some feedback. I have found it very frustrating that I take the time to leave feedback, but get nothing in return. I will have to check out 'Writer's Cafe' and see what it's like. What's your name here on Story Wars, so I can check out some of your writing. :)) thanks

I agree with a short bio that would be on our profile page. It's offered here within the forum, so I don't see why it couldn't be done elsewhere. The feedback issue: confidentiality issues would be in play, + someone might give you negative feedback. Then what would you do with that information, if it was negative? (Many hard feelings :)

When you say 'long stories', are you talking about drafts that are submitted and their submissions 'go on and on'? Or something different? When I go to read someone's draft, but it's 'endless', I won't read it. It's way too long to keep me interested in reading further, which makes it bad because more than likely, the person's draft is good.

AWH, THANKS SO MUCH JOAKIM.....YOUR GREAT : o ))
