How are the votes per draft calculated?

I notice that my 'Votes per draft' number keeps changing. Sometimes the score is decreasing, instead of increasing? Why is this?

There also needs to be more of an explanation of how the point system works, and how it's calculated.

That is a good idea, and we might want a page/user guide to show how this works. I am also interested in how Joakim programs the website and edits it, so maybe a thing to show that could also be included.
